Project Introduction:

 

Taiwan had this post-colonial issue that, whether people should adopt the Chinese national identity implanted by the political party from China, or identify with the local community and territory. This debate has dominated the arts and humanity field in the 20th century and had a profound impact on the national identity issue in today's Taiwan.

This project invite the public to take part in colouring these popular nation images that had troubled and constructed the past of Taiwan, and explore how we perceive and present our nations

 

Methodology:

Participants can pick any national image he would like to colour, and upload it to my dropbox after finished. I will transfer your work on my T-shirt and wear it for one week, while leading my life as usual and interact with people.
